Getting to Gili Air

There are a few ways to get to Gili Air, including flying into Lombok and taking a transfer, or taking a public boat from Bangsal Harbour:

Fly into Lombok
Take a flight from Bali to Lombok International Airport, then arrange
a transfer to Bangsal Harbour. This can be done by taxi or private
transfer, and takes about 1.5 hours. From Bangsal Harbour, you can
take a public boat or speedboat to Gili Air. The boat ride takes about
15 minutes by speedboat or 45 minutes by public boat.

Take a public boat from Bangsal Harbour
This is the cheapest option, with tickets costing around IDR 10,000 (USD 0.65) or less. The boat runs at irregular intervals from around 7.30 am to 4:30 pm, and the journey takes about 5-6 minutes.

Charter a private boat
If you miss the last local boat, you can charter a private boat in Bangsal.
Once you're on the Gili Islands, you can get around by renting a bicycle or electric scooter.
